Upper Elementary

Grade IV - V

In the Upper Elementary classes at PMIS, we utilize interactive smart boards to enhance the learning experience. We maintain a maximum of 25 students per classroom, ensuring a focused and personalized education. Our pedagogy supports a smooth transition from Montessori to mainstream education.

At PMIS, formal education is delivered in a structured environment designed to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. In our Upper Elementary classrooms, we implement a balanced approach that combines freedom with clear boundaries, fostering both independence and responsibility.

We uphold a safe and supportive environment grounded in Montessori principles—respect for individuals and the environment. While academic skills are rigorously developed, we also prioritize social competence and character development, ensuring that each child’s intellect is stimulated and their personal growth is nurtured.

The Upper Elementary classes are equipped with Interactive smart boards. At PMIS, we maintain a maximum strength of 25 students per classroom. The pedagogy facilitates a healthy transition from Montessori to Mainstream.

Formal education occurs in a structured environment whose explicit purpose is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. At Pincushion, a conscious method is put into practice in the UE classrooms where each child operates on the principle of freedom with boundaries.

PMIS provides a safe, comfortable environment based on the core of Montessori beliefs – respect for each other and for the environment. Educational success is not measured merely by the acquisition of academic skills. While a child’s intellect is thoroughly stimulated and challenged in every classroom, equal importance is placed on social competence and character development.
